Default Navy Training Exercise: Strike and Retrieve

This was the advertising banner on Guildwarsguru.com:

http://nte.navy.com/index.jsp?campai...OS_72890PR_NTE

"This U.S. Navy training exercise is being conducted to help us evaluate future recruitment benchmarks. Code name: Strike & Retrieve"

Does anyone find it funny that the Navy is using 12-20 yr olds ability in a video game to benchmark their recruits?

What you guys are failing to realize is, in maybe 20 yrs humans won't be on the battlefield. Mechanical, un-manned, high-power, high-versatility robots will. We won't fight our battles. Technology will.

"At the Navy we know the missions of the future will be determined not by who is the strongest but by who is the smartest." (from the same website)

What I see is a simulation of what the US and the goverment working behind it is expecting their mercenaries to be prepared to cope with when it comes to the real action.

No matter how they look, or how smart they are, you are there to kill them for the good of our goals, and nothing else.
